8208 is the name of an asteroid that was dedicated to Alessandro Volta along with a moon crater.
The 8208 Lighting Design Festival will be held in Como from 4th to 24 th November 2017, involving artists, designers, Universities and international professionals with site-specific lighting installations in different locations in the city, special events, workshops and panels facing the theme of light and light art. Site-specific lighting installations will be displayed all around Como.
The Festival includes also workshops, music and live performances. A 16-artists strong Art Exhibition is also part of the Festival.
