The Artist Matteo Gubellini has been invited to exhibit for this series of art exhibitions called “Arte che Svolta”.
The Opening will take place on Saturday, February 11th, 2017 at 5:00 pm.
On the same day, Saturday, February 11th, at 2:00 pm, illustration workshop for children aged 5 to 9 years in the presence of the artist.

Matteo Gubellini was born in Bergamo in 1972.
After attending arts high school, he graduated from the Scuola del Fumetto (School of Comics) in Milan. He’s both an illustrator and author of illustrated books.
His published works include Un vero leone (Bohem Press Italia), Che piacere, signor Babau! (Bohem Press Italia), La visita della domenica (Logos), Nel cimitero (Logos), Dancing (Logos), Buzzati (Logos), Nessuna differenza!? (Principi Principi), Ho visto passare (La Memoria del Mondo), and others.
Some recognitions he has obtained are: first prize in the illustration contest “Illustrissimi” in 2006; first prize in the 2008 illustration contest “Sulle ali delle farfalle” for the 3/5 year old section; first prize in the illustration contest “Strisce di jazz” in 2011; first prize in the illustration contest “Sulle ali delle farfalle” in 2013; First Prize at the illustration competition " La vallata dei libri bambini " in 2016.

Arte che Svolta
A series of exhibitions dedicated to the world of illustration and its main characters.
Emerging and established artists will take turns in the Spazio del Chiostrino Artificio to offer the city a colourful and vibrant environment immersed in the illustrated art and cartoons, suitable for all ages.
These exhibitions aim at increasing visibility to illustration languages, ​​trying to catch the exemplary nature of the creative process of each author and want to enhance the freshness of a way to express in particular amazement and freedom.
This kind of art is aimed at a curious audience and also aware of the fact that, what we are now is the result of our dreams as a child while thumbing through a book or comics as source of imagination of colours and new ways.
