The Orchestra “I Pomeriggi Musicali”

The internationally acclaimed Russian violinist Sergej Krylov will be presented in the Teatro Sociale in the double role of soloist and conductor in an eclectic program, from the Ouverture of The Marriage of Figaro, to the wistful romance of the first concert for violin and orchestra by Max Bruch, to the ballet music Carmen Suite by Rodion Ščedrin, music inspired by the famous themes of the homonymous opera of Bizet.

The theme of the Spring and everything that is related to the earth and to the rebirth in the Symbolist and Impressionist vision of nature as understood by French music, brought by two young soloists from Como internationally established.

CONCERT IN MEMORY OF MARIA TERRANEO FONTICOLI
After studying in the Hochschule für Musik Luzern in 2014, the Linden Duo has performed in Italy, Japan and Switzerland, and has been awarded in international contests. The study at the Hochschule Luzern and the subsequent musical experiences have allowed the Duo to meet and study with international masters such as Sakagami, Dodds, Schiefen, Cristano Rossi. The Duo has recorded its first "European Suite" CD, with music composed by the major European authors in the late nineteenth century and the first part of the twentieth.
