A walk by the lake
Guided Tours by Official Tourist Guides.
Take a guided walk by the lake and discover villas, monuments and art. This suggestive itinerary allows you to admire “Life Electric”, the artistic work of the famous architect Daniel Libeskind, which honours the memory of the scientist Alessandro Volta. The stroll continues to the Volta Temple in neoclassical style and to the impressive War Memorial inspired by a drawing of the futurist architect Antonio Sant’Elia.
We will walk along the lake admiring the rich and elegant villas built between the 1700s and 1800s, with lush gardens, up to reach the majestic Villa Olmo and its park that links to the “Kilometer of knowledge”, a path through botanical gardens.
