Comocuore bicycle day
Comocuore Bicycle Day has been a city appointment for 23 years. Three events in one day and all centered around riding bicycle and saving lives. Cycling Tour - 16 kilometers - Memorial Gino Ricci A scenic route from Piazza Cavour to the neighbouring town of Cernobbio and back. This is a very relaxed event and people with all types of bicycles can take part. Bimbimbici 3 kilometers within the city center. A bicycle ride dedicated to the little ones. Trofeo Città di Como - Memorial Gianni Mazzola Bicycle race in the City of Como, the competition will take place in streets usually open to traffic, that will be dedicated to cyclists for the occasion. The race includes the following categories: junior, senior and veterans, the route is a 2,9 kilometers repetead for 20 loops. (20 times). Sunday, October 1s 2017, the first Sunday of the month, the Civic Museums in Como will be open to the public with free admission from 10am to 6pm. From the Neolithic, to the Roman conquest, discover the history of Como in a journey through times. See Museum List below. Rebellious Lake Como. On the footsteps of the smugglers
Lake Como is a land of wonderful landscapes and history, but also the place where the adventures of smugglers, brigands and soldiers have been consumed. In this frontier land between Italy and Switzerland, the mountains just around the city Como were excavated to accommodate trenches, fortresses and hiding places.
