Although several months have passed, it is impossible to forget the extraordinary work of tens of thousands of doctors, nurses, social-health workers, and volunteers working on the frontline and that, thanks to them, it was possible to face the emergency, despite it being something new and unanticipated. These are people who have silently worked incredibly skilfully and competently, doing gruelling shifts and exposing themselves to very high risks. Unfortunately, many of them have lost their lives. In order to commemorate all the courage and sacrifice of these individuals, the Banda Baradello is promoting a concert to thank the Como health staff, which will be held on Saturday 12th September at 4 pm in the park of Villa Olmo. The concert includes a selection of music pieces chosen to give due recognition to this work and commitment, to share together a moment of closeness through music, to remind ourselves of what we have experienced and to carry it with us from here on out.
