Baradello by night

Teatro Sociale: a theatre to discover
The Teatro Sociale in Como opens its doors to the city, to citizens and to tourists alike. How does the Royal seat look like? Why is that room called "Pasta"? What's upstage? And under the stage? Visitors will be accompanied to visit the halls, the "behind the scenes" and the mysterious places of the theater, usually inaccessible to viewers. The visit takes about one hour and includes a guided tour of the Foyer, the Pasta Room, the Main Hall, stage orders, galleries, the Painters' Hall, and then it will take you to the stage, dressing room, tailoring, Canonica, underpass and Arena. This New Year's celebrations in Como will be suitable especially to all those people who want to experience the transition to the new year in a peaceful and quiet but also spectacular way. At Midnight a large firework show will be fired from a floating platform placed in the first basin of the lake, accompanied by widespread music. Arte che Svolta
The Artist Matteo Gubellini has been invited to exhibit for this series of art exhibitions called “Arte che Svolta”. The Opening will take place on Saturday, February 11th, 2017 at 5:00 pm. On the same day, Saturday, February 11th, at 2:00 pm, illustration workshop for children aged 5 to 9 years in the presence of the artist. Matteo Gubellini was born in Bergamo in 1972. After attending arts high school, he graduated from the Scuola del Fumetto (School of Comics) in Milan. He’s both an illustrator and author of illustrated books. His published works include Un vero leone (Bohem Press Italia), Che piacere, signor Babau! (Bohem Press Italia), La visita della domenica (Logos), Nel cimitero (Logos), Dancing (Logos), Buzzati (Logos), Nessuna differenza!?
