    Arte Solidale Festival is an international classical music festival and charity, which takes place every year in the area of Lake Como, Italy. The mission of the Festival is both to promote young artists as well as to support minors in need, by collaborating with social organisations in the territory of Lake Como. The concerts, set during springtime each year, take place in historical villas and palaces on the shores of Lake Como, where composers like Franz Liszt and Johannes Brahms used to spend time and compose, inspired by the amazing landscapes. Multiple themed concerts, including solo recitals, chamber music and orchestral music concerts, are presented to the audience.   • Lake Como Design Festival
    For its fourth edition, the Lake Como Design Festival - from 17 to 25 September in Como - renews its format with exhibitions, talks and events in historical, unpublished or forgotten places in the city and the Como area. The festival aims to establish a fascinating and original dialogue between history, architecture, design and art. The theme of this festival will be Neo-nomadism, a concept moving seamlessly between real and digital life in a survey of new movements of culture and labour. These have always featured throughout the history of mankind but are now also very much associated with the phenomena of the great economic divide and of climate change.   • International Prize of Poetry and Fiction Europe in verse and prose 2021
    Thanks to the success achieved so far, the Prize Europa in versi changes to EUROPE IN VERSE AND PROSE as it now includes a crucial new section: “Religious Cultures.” As usual, the Prize aims to scout new talents or talents who deserve greater visibility on our social channels and on the websites www.europainversi.org and www.lacasadellapoesiadicomo.com Absolute winners of both published Poetry and published Fiction will receive a prize of 500.00 €. For all sections dedicated to unpublished texts, the winner of each section will have the opportunity to publish it free of charge with I Quaderni del Bardo editions by Stefano Donno.     The Silk Museum is going to open the door on April, 29th 2021! The new opening time of the Silk Museum: from Thursday to Sunday 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Reservation needed on Saturday and Sunday.
