With its peculiar self-sufficiency, the piano is the sole protagonist of this journey, a path composed of reflections and accounts giving ample space to sound research and experimentation.
Marco Detto's compositions evoke unknown places and landscapes which, through the notes of the piano, are transformed into sounds, music, and colours.
The thematic material is exhibited with intense participation and communicative freedom, immediately revealing a profound knowledge of tradition and, at the same time, a truly uncommon familiarity with and mastery of improvisation.
The solo piano concert consists of original pieces by Marco Detto, as well as revisited standards.
