Located just a stone’s throw from Lake Como, the Villa is an early 20th century Liberty-style building that was commissioned by Count Restelli. There are numerous nods to the floral style with parapets in wrought iron and wall decorations with horse chestnut leaves and a Medusa’s head decorated with leaves and twigs (the symbol of Villa Liberty). In the garden there are grottos, bridges and fairytale houses that evoke a pastoral, Art Nouveau-inspired world.
