Monumento ai caduti
War Memorial - Commemoration of the victims of World War I
This war memorial was built in the 1930’s after a series of projects that were considered unsuitable. On the occasion of the visit of Italian poet Filippo Tommaso Marinetti to Antonio Sant’Elia’s exhibition at Broletto, Marinetti suggested to build the memorial on a Sant’Elia’s project. Enrico Prampolini, Attilio Terragni and Giuseppe Terragni were involved in the project and design.
